Nea Peramos is a town and a former municipality in the Kavala regional unit, East Macedonia and Thrace, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Pangaeo, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 201.443 km2. Nea Peramos is situated on the Aegean Sea coast, at the northeastern end of the Strymonic Gulf. It is located 38 km east of Kavala and 106 km northeast of Thessaloniki.
