Overview
Tilden Regional Park is a 2,079-acre (841 ha) regional park in the East Bay counties of Alameda and Contra Costa, California, United States. It is between the cities of Berkeley, Oakland, and Richmond. The park is named after Charles Lee Tilden, a businessman and philanthropist who donated the land to the East Bay Regional Park District in 1936.
Tilden Regional Park is a popular destination for hiking, biking, picnicking, and camping. The park has over 20 miles (32 km) of trails, including the popular East Bay Skyline Trail. The park also has several picnic areas, a swimming pool, and a golf course.
